PATA and the Jeju Tourism Organization have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering sustainable tourism practices and boosting Jeju's Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. This partnership marks a significant step towards responsible tourism development on the island, which is known for its stunning natural beauty and cultural heritage.
The collaboration will focus on various initiatives designed to promote eco-friendly practices, enhance visitor experiences, and support local communities. By implementing sustainable tourism strategies, both organizations aim to minimize the environmental impact of tourism while maximizing economic benefits for the region.
In addition to these efforts, plans are underway for a future PATA event in Jeju, which will further highlight the island as a prime destination for sustainable tourism.
